West End Swords is a fencing club located in Mississauga, offering beginner, recreational, and competitive fencing programs for kids and adults! With a membership of over 100 active fencers, and a history that stretches back decades, we are proudly one of the largest clubs in the province. Whether you are new to fencing, or have years of experience, we believe anyone can fence!
New to fencing? Our intro programs will teach you everything you need to know. We offer youth & adult intro programs all week long. Classes are 1.5hrs, all equipment is provided!

After completing the intro program, our rec classes are a great way to keep learning about the sport in a friendly and positive environment. Classes are 2hrs long, all equipment is provided!

About The Club
Our mandate is to redefine what a fencing club can be. We believe that anyone can fence and we embrace that way of thinking in everything we do. No matter what your goals or motivations are, we have something for you. It begins with teaching the passion for the sport in a positive, safe and friendly environment. Our primary aim is to develop lifelong fencers first and foremost. No matter your age, or what your goals are, we welcome you the same!
Whether you want to fence for fitness, or make new friends our recreational programs are an amazing way to get in shape and meet great people along the way. If you are looking to compete and train for results, we have a rapidly growing competitive stream and our coaches have brought various fencers from day one to the podium at local and provincial level tournaments. Perhaps you are a history buff and want to learn about the 16th century art of the duel our historical rapier program is a great way bring out your inner swashbuckler!
With a lineage that goes back to 1995 and a coaching staff with over 4 decades worth of fencing experience, we are one of a kind in the GTA and would love to introduce you to the sport of fencing!
